Cockerel hobbles

Our own design Cockerel hobbles for aggressive roosters. If you have a roo who is very aggressive to his hens this will quieten him down. He can walk, prance, eat, drink, tread and hop but he can't run very fast. It's quietened this aggressive rooster down who was treading anything that stood still whether chickens, ducks or geese and very violently.  Now he just strolls about and the hens aren't scared of him anymore. If your rooster is young and rampant,  once he's grown up and matured he can have them taken off. Roosters need to be able to integrate with the hens and learn the rules, much like teenage boys and the only way he can do that is to get in there with them. Keeping him away from the hens makes things worse as he goes on the rampage once he's put back in. This way, with the hobbles on, he slowly adjusts. They won't chaff or hurt him, just slows him down and keeping the hens safer. Price includes postage . These will fit a large breed he's a Black Copper Maran x Warren to show you the size. Will need 2 people better with 3 to put them on.

Mine lasted 3 months on him before he wore them through but by then I could trust him to leave them off. Please remember each cockerel is different, these work on mine and I have had them on a few, but they may not work on yours.
